I believe everyone deserves a therapist that makes them feel comfortable in their vulnerability.

Hi i am Sandy and Welcome to Sunrizer Therapy šŸ’„šŸ’„šŸ’„

Get to know me,

Star sign: Aries

How many years have I been in practice:

2015 to Present

Favorite beach in the Shoalhaven:

Moona Moona Beach - where I love to go with the grandkids - they get to jump off the bridge into the water and you can paddle around on water rafts .. Great for all ages .

When Iā€™m stressed or anxious, this is what I do:

I take 3 deep slow breaths to ground myself and then notice what Iā€™m feeling inside. I then ask myself what i need right now to feel safe. It may be to have that cuppa tea first or to call a friend or maybe to run a nice bubble bath and take care of myself better.

Hi my name is Sandy Beech and i am a qualified holistic counselor and psychotherapist and operate from my private practice in the Jervis Bay area NSW.  I've spent the last 15 or so years learning and growing in all aspects of my own mental, physical , emotional and spiritual self to become a better version of me.

I consider it a privilege to work with individuals, couples and adolescents that honor their goals and support them to navigate the transformative and positive changes they want to see in their lives.

I am deeply interested and passionate in how feelings and thoughts are interconnected with the body. With gentle exploration and curiosity of both mind and body, we can become more present and bring more peace to our lives.

Along with working in my private practice , I also work at the Quest for life foundation as the counselor and facilitator on several different life changing programs throughout the year .

My background has been working in the disability and mental health sector , where I supported people with many different challenges. I loved this work as it gave me so much purpose and allowed me to be of service to the individual and the community.

A good disability support worker understands the emotions a person with disabilities may struggle with, in order to give tailored, effective care. Gaining a qualification is the number one way to learn the skills needed to become a great disability support worker.

I work with individuals that are really struggling with life challenges, like; childhood trauma, Grief and Loss, Anxiety and Depression along with life-threatening diseases like Cancer.

I support couples in relationship counseling to nurture and give a voice to both parties for connection and healing.

We all experience grief and loss, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression & other life transitions from time to time, throughout our lives, so you are supported with compassion and nonjudgment in a safe and healing space.

I recognize the courage it can take to seek support or walk into a therapy room or click into a video session. I offer you compassion and non-judgemental acceptance.

Are you ready to start working together?
